Taste and explore a dram without buying a whole bottle!
Yummy, peaty, smoky whisky from the Toberymory distillery, released under their Ledaig name. This was distilled back in May 2001 and set aside to mature in a single refill hogshead for 15 years, until March 2017. That's when Douglas Laing bottled it for their Old Particular range, with an outturn of 355 bottles.
Nose: Peat smoke and creamy vanilla battle for supremacy.
Palate: Smoke wins the battle, taking over the palate. A layer of caramel develops.
Finish: Salty and slightly fiery.
