Macallan 25yo 1993 #12782 Bottling Note

The Xtra Old Particular indie bottling range from Douglas Laing is reserved for very special, excited whiskies - 25 year old Macallan fits the bill perfectly. This Speyside single malt was distilled by Macallan back in June 1993 and left to age in a single refill barrel for quarter of a century, before being bottled at cask strength in August 2018. Only 226 bottles were released.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Detect lightly toasted wood, pear drops, cranberry and key lime pie on the nose, and the perfectly rich palate has a fruit syrup quality, with light spice, orange peel and toasted barley. The long and spicy finish shows a dry, fruity, nutmeg, Scottish marmalade style.
