The Macallan 15 Year Old 1947 (bottled 1962) - Fine & Rare

Macallan 1947 Fine & Rare Bottling Note

Macallan's Fine & Rare range explores the Speyside-based distillery's history with vintages of their whisky from long ago. This particular bottling is rather interesting indeed - it was distilled in 1947, matured in Sherry oak and originally bottled 15 years later in 1962. More than 40 years later, it was then re-bottled for the Fine & Rare range in 2008.

Please note: This bottle has been purchased directly from Macallan.

Drank this with some leftovers one morning.
