The Macallan Fine Oak Masters Edition

Fine Oak Masters Bottling Note

This lovely expression joined The Macallan Fine Oak Range in 2010 and is bottled at a slightly higher-than-usual strength, and it was aged in a mix of sherry and bourbon wood. Lovely stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral and fruity, notes of manuka honey, vanilla, peaches and cream and Nutella. Peppery.

Palate: Malt and peaches, nectarine, apple strudel, toffee, sponge cake and nutmeg.

Finish: Dry and creamy, oak and vanilla, fruit.

I only accept the masters edition. An interesting mix of interesting oak. The flavours of the oak barrel were at most, interesting. Have to say, was interesting.
