Part of Gordon and MacPhail's Speymalt range from The Macallan distillery, this was distilled in 1999.
The nose is medium-bodied and very well-balanced. There are notes of dried peels and banana milkshake, hints of Bartlett pear and Cox’s apple. Notes of sandalwood and oak. The palate is medium-bodied and quite rich. There are notes of sherried peels and honeyed almonds. There are some floral notes and stemmy hay. The finish is rich and long with cereal sugars and fruit.
