The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes, surprisingly, from Ireland. It's a triple distilled expression which is aged in both sherry and bourbon casks for over 10 years before bottling.
Light and fruity on the nose. A little hint of liquorice pops up, as does crumbly vanilla fudge.
A classic pudding of peaches and cream with a sprinkling of crushed up biscuits and almonds.
Fairly long, with oak cropping up near the end.
Superb! A cracking Irish whiskey.
Lovely and smooth. Great whiskey for the price.
Very nice tasting
Real good
Picked it up on sale after seeing many positive reviews... perhaps I got a bad batch compared to the glowing reviews because I was very disappointed with it. It has a very sharp, cheap-tasting harsh alcohol taste and I definitely wouldn't describe it as smooth. I'd take Irish whiskey over bourbon & scotch any day but I feel like this will still be in the back of my collection gathering dust a few years from now before I finally finish it. Added to that it's nearly double the price of basic whiskeys like bushmills and jameson yet in my opinion, it's far inferior
Just got a bottle today as a gift and it’s the first time I’ve tasted it. Not disappointed, what a fantastic whiskey. Pour over a few cubes of ice and sip away, heaven!
