This 18-year-old expression marries whisky drawn from a bourbon barrel and an oloroso octave. Even the Boutique-y gang doesn't know the origin of this one, but if they chose to bottle it up, you know it's a winner.
Batch 1 is a release of 349 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Earthy, sooty smoke makes a bold entrance, resting upon waves of oaken vanilla, peaty grist, butterscotch, Ginger Snap biscuits, and smoked candied almonds.
Palate
Bold and delicious, with dense toffee, Caramac, and marmalade opening the way for hearty, robust peat smoke. Soft stone fruits develop in time, with buttery oak and warming notes of nutmeg.
Finish
Burnt butter, robust oak, fudge, stewed tea, vanilla, cracked peppercorns, sweet peat.
