This release from the Mey Selections independent bottling range was distilled by Teaninich back in May 2008, and left to age in a first-fill sherry cask. After a dozen years of silent slumber, the single malt Scotch whisky was bottled up at 54% ABV, producing just 150 bottles.
Nose: Juicy orange and lemon, with a touch of coconut underneath the zestiness.
Palate: Enjoyably spicy on the palate with cinnamon and ginger, with malty notes sit in the background.
Finish: Almonds, more orange, dried fruit.
