Teacher's 25 Year Old Bottling Note

This rather deluxe-looking expression is a well-aged variation on the Teacher's blended Scotch whisky recipe, made exclusively with whiskies aged for at least 25 years. Teacher's history in whisky can be traced back to the 1800s, with William Teacher being the catalyst for a whole lot of whisky makin' through the ages!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Grassy malt and polished oak, with a helping of nutmeg adding to the spiciness. Sweeter hints of caramelised peanuts and dried orange peel appear later on.

Palate: Light wafts of peat smoke drift between notes of thyme honey, waxy fruit and a good kick of five-spice.

Finish: Dried oak and nutty vanilla.
