Distilled at Tamnavulin in 2009, this single malt spent 15 years maturing and was drawn from a single cask that previously held rhum agricole! The cask was opened by the Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Company in 2024, independently releasing a total of 296 bottles. The folks at Saltire reckon the herbaceous, vegetal, fruity character of this single malt will make it an ideal accompaniment to asparagus with butter cream sauce and a dusting of celery salt.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Banana bread and malt loaf cushion a touch of chalky minerality, while freshly cut grass, lemon peels and tangy cranberries nestle beneath.

Palate Fruity and vegetal, with vibrant herbaceous notes of grassy cane beside woody spices.

Finish Oaken vanilla, a touch of floral malt, peppercorns, and hints of bitter, rootsy spice.
