Tamdhu 19yo 1999 #14936 Bottling Note

This Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Tamdhu distillery was independently bottled from a single cask refill hogshead (#14936) in April 2018 by Hunter Laing & Co. for the Old Malt Cask series. It was distilled back in 1999 and was aged for a total of 19 years before it was bottled at 50% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Mellow and fruity initially, before more distinct notes of sweet toffee, toasted malt and Acacia honey.

Palate: The palate is spicy initially with dark chocolate, sweet rhubarb and fresh nectarines emerging with time.

Finish: Medium long with licks of liquorice.
