This was distilled at Tamdhu in the Spring of 1999 and aged for 12 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in Winter 2012. A wonderful release of single cask whisky from Douglas Laing's Provenance range.
Nose: A sweet, spiced nose with a little toffee and caramel.
Palate: A soft, buttery, oak-led palate with notes of cinnamon and cough drops.
Finish: Malt-driven finish with nutmeg on the tail.
