Talisker 7 Year Old 2009 (cask 11521) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

Talisker 7yo 2009 #11521 Bottling Note

A tempting Talisker, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for their Provenance selection. This one was distilled on the Isle of Skye in November 2009 and set aside to age in a refill hoggie for 7 years before being bottled in November 2016. 421 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A balanced nose of barley sweets and salty liquorice.

Palate: Coastal and intense. Slight fruitiness to it, too.

Finish: Toasted oak staves and waves of earthy vanilla pod.
