The nose is very peaty and smoky. There are coastal notes and paraffin. Hints of beexwax and kelp with thick wood smoke, Bramley apples, marzipan and oily nuts. The palate is thick and full. There is an abundance of sour citrus from the offing, notes of cut herbs and crab-apple, pine oils and building peppery oak. A touch of iodine emerges with thick peat and wood smoke. Notes of sea weed rise. The finish is long and coastal with peppered oak.
