A blended whisky from The House of Suntory's three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki has a different composition to another Suntory blend, Hibiki, as its main components are Hakashu single malt and Chita grain whisky. It should work really well in a highball.
Fun fact: 'Toki' means 'time' in Japanese.
Soft orchard fruits and thyme honey are joined by a helping of peppermint in the backdrop.
More green apple on the palate leads along bright citrus notes from pink grapefruit. Bitter herbs, toasted almonds and vanilla oak linger underneath.
White pepper and ginger add spice to the finish.
Lovely pale yellow whisky in a stylish bottle. It’s a pleasant blended whisky. Great on its own but even better in cocktails.
Most certainly worth a try, very nice, nice aftertaste. Needs to be tried neat, that's where the flavour lies. I'm more of a gin person so I was slightly skeptical but this does not disappoint
A great whisky. Smoky flavour that doesn’t burn as it goes down. Light, smooth and fresh. A nice subtle whiskey. Bottle is a great shape. Will certainly be buying again.
I like to drink this with ice and coca cola. Strong and good taste. In the future I would like to buy another bottle. Very good us a gift for someone you really like.
Makes a nice change to try a new whisky. This is the Japanese take on it . Mellow with a nice afterglow
