This was distilled at the Strathmill in October 1992 before a 17 year maturation in a single refill hogshead. It was bottled for the Old Malt Cask range from Douglas Laing in January 2010. This is a release of 298 bottles.
Nose: Creamy vanilla and allspice. Notes of tobacco leaves, white chocolate and fruit.
Palate: A fruity, spicy palate with caramel, burnt sugar and vanilla. Quite fruity.
Finish: A malty finish with orange bitters on the tail.
Overall: Thick and full with a classic Speyside character.
