A 40 year old from the Strathclyde, this was distilled in 1969 and aged in a refill hogshead (cask HH 5741). This was bottled for the Clan Denny label from Douglas Laing.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Vanilla, hints of dates, raisins, toffee, a touch of honey.

Palate Sweet with honey, and spicy nutmeg, nutty, chocolate, toffee, figs.

Finish Medium to short finish, but lovely flavours of nutmeg, cinnamon and hazelnut.
