St. George Single Malt 12 Bottling Note

America has given us countless reasons to like it. Baseball, apple pie and Nicholas Cage, they're all great. [Hey, what did apple pie ever do to you?! - Ed] The St. George Single Malt Whiskey, however, might just be the thing that puts us head-over-heels in love with the Land of the Free.

Multiple levels of roasting were used for the barley, along with a portion of un-roasted barley that's smoked over beech and alder wood. Following that, they also mature the whiskey in a mixture of bourbon, French oak, Port and Sherry casks. It may seem complicated, but hey, we're not complaining!

    Lot Dependent!

MoM team - it would be really awesome for you to list the Lot Number of the batch you're selling. It makes a big difference in profile. The latest release is, I believe, lot 13. Having tried lots 7, 9, 10, and 12, I would say that 10 is my favorite - it's a little, teeny, tiny bit like a Speyside, but without the complexity of some of the better ones. Lot 12 on the other hand was much less to my liking, having a palate that was flat and bland. Except for the price, it does well as a mixing whiskey. I haven't had the chance to sample Lot 13 yet, but I have high hopes.
