An indie bottling of 21 year old Springbank - sure to be very exciting for the community of Springbank fans out there! This one was distilled in June 1995 and matured in a refill butt until August 2016, when it was bottled by Douglas Laing for their Xtra Old Particular range. Only 131 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A rather spicy nose, with peppery oak and peat burning on the sea shore.

Palate: Coffee with chicory and cream, with peat smoke building later on.

Finish: Slowly becomes sweeter than the nose and palate, with honey and barley sugar (there's still smoke here though).
