Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Producer's Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fragrant with notes of sweet confectionery and fruit salad giving way to sugared almonds, sherbet and soft fruits.
Palate: Peppery with light tannins. The sweetness is continued alongside dried fruits, raisins and the subtle hint of coconut shavings.
Finish: Dark sugars and chocolate to the fore with pineapple custard, vanilla, stewed fruits and a touch of bung cloth all present in the medium dry finish.

Hazelburn 9 Year Old 2007 - Barolo Cask Finish Reviews
Complex
Very complex for a younger whisky, very enjoyable. Take your time with it and flavors will open up and keep developing. Dash of water makes it less oily but great either way. Worth mentioning that the cork smells incredibly winey, which is a nice touch.

Fine Springbank on top form.
Sweet sugary nose with pineapple chunks standing out. Touch of water releases loads of exotic fruits with a fizzle on the tongue. Long fruity finish leaving you demanding more. Beautiful stuff but the bottle isn't big enough!
