A blend to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the Edinburgh International Festival, part of a limited release of just 2006 bottles.
The nose is quite full and sweet. There are plenty of notes of barley sugar and juicy cereals with a touch of Madeira, a gentle smoke hangs overhead with acacia honey and heather. The palate is quite thick and full. The malty barley notes are quite sumptuous with notes of cooked plums and gentle oak and smoke. The finish is quite long and spicy with some dried fruit notes.
