This was distilled at the Springbank distillery in July of 1991, before a 20 year maturation in a single refill hogshead. It was bottled in November 2011 for Douglas Laing's Old and Rare Platinum Selection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honey and dates, apple danish, stewed citrus, gooseberries and a touch of port wine.

Palate: Pineapple, salted caramel, bitter orange. A touch of spent match head, butter and maybe even a hint of marmite!

Finish: Sour fruits, old oak and cedar.
