Bottled at 100 proof (57% abv), a superb 10 year old from Springbank, released in March of 2004.
The nose is crisp with a superb clarity and depth. There are notes of stemmy grass, oily petals, blossom, buttery honey and a touch of wood resin. There are some notes of fraises des bois and orange, tangerine and mandarin. The smoke wafts gently from time to time detachedly. The palate is quite sweet and of medium-body. There are notes of tropical fruits, piña colada and smoke. Hints of confiture de fraise, notes of calves leather and a little marmalade. The finish is of good length with notes of oily oak and orange.

Not perfect (but what is?), big, bold and brassy, in another time you'd call it 'a mans drink'. Jam packed full of flavour and excitement, way more complex than other big commercial high ABV whiskies, add a good drop of water and enjoy the ride.

Hi there! At the moment, we are not expecting any more stock. However, if we do manage to get our hands on more bottles, we will be sure to make them available to our customers, so do check back! --The Chaps at Master of Malt

It says sold out. When would it be possible to get this?
A bit rough at first, but once your pallate adjusts it evaporates on your tongue leaving a complex and slightly smokey taste.

Rough and tough. Iodine and algae, very peculiar indeed.
