Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is of medium-body with a cut flowers and herbs. There are hints of pollen and notes of dried woods, a little marmalade and winter spice. A very gentle smoke lurks somewhere with notes of vanilla and buttery toffee. The palate is quite rich and dry. The oak is quite evident, but combines with various other aromatic woods, a touch of resin develops with plenty of pepper and a marked aridity. There are notes of dried fruits and a barley sweetness. The finish is long and well oaked.
