Samaroli Ferry to Islay 50th Anniversary Edition

Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Samaroli Ferry to Islay 50th Anniversary Edition to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Samaroli Ferry Islay 50th Bottling Note

Here we have the fourth bottling of Samaroli's Ferry to Islay, inspired by (unsurprisingly) a ferry to Islay a few years back. This is the 2019 release and also celebrates Samaroli's 50th anniversary, blending together Bowmore and Laphroaig single malts. This is a smoky, creamy affair, with 192 bottles released at 55.1% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Damp oak and barley sugar, with a sprinkle of rock salt alongside baked vanilla custard.

Palate: More sweet, creamy vanilla, with lychee and tropical fruit, balanced by waves of savoury smoke.

Finish: Earthy vanilla pod lingers, shrouded by aromatic peat smoke and a mineral note.
