A superb triple-distilled single malt from the now silent Rosebank distillery, bottled as part of the Flora and Fauna series.
The nose is of medium-body. The cereal notes abound with hints of juicy barley sweetness. Notes of crisp wood smoke cutting the cold air with an herbal freshness. Notes of winter spice and citrus with cut limes and mandarins and potpourri. The palate is full and quite sweet. The citrus notes proliferate gaily with notes of cut limes and tangerines. Sugared peels and winter spice, Parfait Armour and Cointreau with notes of tannic oak. The finish is long and punchy with a good smoke and spicy fruit.

I may not be a connoisseur but this is the nicest whisky i've tasted. Slightly sweet but not too much so.
