Rittenhouse 25 Bottling Note

An award-winning, critically acclaimed single barrel rye whiskey. John Hansell of Malt Advocate awarded this 96 points! There are very few ryes of this age, and this is an utterly sophisticated, elegant whisky.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Good spiciness, but mostly this astonishing sweetness - comes in waves of sugar-coated nuts and chocolate raisins. Then a sandalwood hit with vanilla, almond and nougat. Hints of Turkish Delights too.

Palate: Handfuls of exotic spice, sweetness, mint chocolate, custard, then a rapidly building crescendo of rich oak - which is present in a big way, but its possibly the softest oak you'll every try.

Finish: The palate develops through the finish, with big sweet explosions of spice.

Rittenhouse Rye 25 Year Old Reviews

Liquid magic

Having bought a selection of samples, I have to admit to this being by far the best among them (although also the most expensive). A fantastic whiskey, and an absolute privilege to experience. Try it.
