Rebel Yell Bourbon Bottling Note

This famous bourbon brand, originally named after a Confederate war cry, has undergone a rebrand for a new generation of rebels. "Rowdy yet refined", this new look straight bourbon is the original recipe made with wheat, corn and malted barley.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honey, vanilla, slightly woody raisin and candy sticks.

Palate: Sultanas, nectarine and hints of prune. Vanilla throughout.

Finish: Warming pressed apple.

Overall: Still enjoyable in the midnight hour.

Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon Reviews

W. L. Weller was my drink of choice for years until they priced themselves out of my range. After discovering Rebel Yell there was no turning back. I serve it over crushed ice to all of my friends and many of them have switched. I introduced it to a friend from Eastern Europe and he purchased a case to take back with him.

Bottom shelf price and upper shelf taste.

One of the best

This is one of the smoothest tastiest bourbons I’ve ever tasted. Good to see it’s getting a decent distribution in the UK.

Another nice advent calendar surprise. Sweet - goes down a bit too easily. Like a Blantons for half the price.
