Sir Walter Raleigh 1970s

A blended whisky named for the Elizabethan scholar and courtier to Elizabeth I, this bottling of Scotch from Glasgow was produced in the 1970s.

Although both potatoes and tobacco were introduced to Britain long before Raleigh, he did attract fame and plaudits for his explorations, which is why (if you look closely) you can see the logo for the brand is a charming little ship.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Please note that the label does not state the volume or ABV of this product and that it is being sold as a collectable item only, we make no warranty or undertaking regarding the contents.
