Old Pulteney 1982-2014 Bottling Note

From the northerly Old Pulteney distillery comes this single malt Scotch whisky which was distilled all the way back in 1982. It was left to mature in a refill remade hogshead until 2014, when Gordon & MacPhail stepped in to bottle up the Highlands whisky. This handsome fellow is has a classically-styled label! Awesome stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Opens sweet with fresh orange and strawberry. Develops rich, thick malty notes and a subtle waxy hint.

Palate: There's your Old Pulteney sea breeze, blending well with the caramel, chocolate and more citrus.

Finish: Continued lemon notes through to the end.
