Pride Of The Lowlands 12 Bottling Note

A 12 year old vatted malt from Gordon and MacPhail, exhibiting the light, floral style of the Lowlands.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is quite light and fruity. There are notes of oak and pine with a fresh green note, mixed fruits and a good sweetness. The palate is quite light and gentle. There are notes of sweet herbs and a malty, slightly hoppy note. Some oak and a little caramel. The finish is gentle and fresh with a little oak.

Pride Of The Lowlands 12 Year Old Reviews

Worth the Effort!

A few decades ago when I was younger and fitter one of my favourite short evening cycle jaunts after work at Pitlochry was over the Moulin Moor to Kirkmichael for a stopover at the inn there for two glasses of Pride of the Lowlands before turning round and heading for home. I think the inn is no more and the "Pride" now hard to find but eschewing all the flowery guff of today I can honestly say it was a damn fine dram and well worth the effort!
