Boutique-y Port Ellen #4 Bottling Note

STRICTLY 1 PER CUSTOMER

Boom! Batch 4 of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Port Ellen has landed!

After closing its doors in 1983 Port Ellen has become perhaps the most legendary whisky distillery in the entire world. As ever, our handsome graphic novel-style label features the inimitable Jon Beach from Fiddler's Whisky Bar, Port Ellen collector extraordinaire. Clutching his faithful chamois leather and sherbet lemons (classic Port Ellen tasting notes) he doesn't seem to have noticed The SS Malt rowing past just behind him...

Just 45 of these extremely rare bottles are available!

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, bourbons, blended malts and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Pineapple turkish delight, almond, suede, ashes and mango.

Palate: Tangy oak, warm citrus and a more tropical ash note with a hint of crème fraîche.

Finish: Nutmeg and delicious, lingering caffè macchiato.

Overall: Complex and fruity with brooding ash that doesn't overpower. It's lover-ly stuff.

Port Ellen - Batch 4 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Reviews

Fabulous price

What a brilliant price for 50cl of NAS whisky. Congrats MofM

Bad reputation

These overpriced bottlings, plus the ridiculous mark-ups on Feis Ile bottlings, are doubtless making MofM good money in the short-term. But the company is starting to get a bad reputation on the forums because of it.
