This was distilled at the Port Dundas grain distillery in 1978. It was then aged for a full 34 years in a single cask (hogshead 9079) before bottling for Douglas Laing's stellar Clan Denny range.
Nose: Rich, buttery toffee and hints of baking spices. Very aromatic with a little oak developing.
Palate: Sweet, creamy palate with vanilla fudge and hints of nougat. Dried banana, candied lemon.
Finish: Spiced, slightly floral finish.
