This scrumptious single grain Scotch whisky was produced at the Port Dundas Distillery, which is now sadly closed. It was distilled in June 2004, and firstly aged in a refill butt casks, and given a finishing in an Oloroso sherry butt. It was eventually bottled in June 2021, at 17 years of age, by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen indie bottling range. 603 bottles were released.
Nose: Toasted almonds, milk chocolate, a herbal hint of thyme lingering.
Palate: Caramel and honey, with a dusting of icing sugar in there too. Apricot and dried cherry give it some fruity depth.
Finish: Cinnamon buns, toffee, and brown sugar.
