Though the Port Dundas Distillery may be gone, its whisky remains, which is marvellous for fans of tasty single grain! This one was distilled back in 2006 (a few years before Port Dundas closed in 2011) and left to age for 13 years, before being independently bottled by Signatory as part of the Single Grain Collection. It's like taking a sip of history! Delicious history, made of whisky.
Nose: Polished oak, strawberry, brown bread and custard.
Palate: Subtly fruity with Jazz apple and sultana, with continued bready notes and some earthy herbs.
Finish: Peppery on the finish, with waxy lemon peels in support.
