A single grain whisky distilled at Port Dundas in January 1978 and bottled by Douglas Laing in April 2013 as part of their Directors' Cut range. It was matured for over 35 years in a refill sherry hogshead.
Nose: Spicy and sweet vanilla toffee, rum and custard.
Palate: Big on the palate with marzipan, bourbon and more rich toffee.
Finish: Long and satisfying with spicy oak and caramel latte.
Overall: Sensational grain whisky.
