Charlotte 14yo Nation Bottling Note

Heavily peated Port Charlotte from Bruichladdich, distilled in 2002. This whisky was then aged for 14 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, before being bottled at 60.2% ABV in 2017 by the Jewish Whisky Company for the Single Cask Nation bottling series. Only 264 bottles were released.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vegetal and incredibly peaty, with oodles of stewed red berries, and a pinch of rock salt and black pepper.

Palate: Smooth, with more of those berries returning in force, alongside dark chocolate, figs, dates and sweet toffee, a pinch of tobacco and a tidal wave of peat.

Finish: Lengthy and ashy with a touch of oak, fruit and chocolate notes remain in the background.
