Pinwhinnie Royal Bottling Note

Pinwinnie Royale is a blended whisky from Moffat and Towers Ltd. This has been discontinued.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is light and smooth. There are notes of honey and cereal sweetness and a faint flower character. A little dry cut hay develops. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth. There are notes of toffee and oak, a cut hay note and a spirity character. The finish is quite dry and a little short with a touch of oak.

Pinwhinnie Royal Blended Scotch Whisky Reviews

Mr. William R. Gormley

It was my annual hobby to buy a bottle for my doctor each Christmas in the 1970s. He would share a wee bit to celebrate the holidays and then he put it away for hid only special times.. It was a pleasant change from my famous grouse 12 that was my normal drink and still is 40 years later. Have not been able to find Pinwinnie in many years but still have fond memories!
