A travel retail exclusive from Old Pulteney, named after the last drifter boat at the harbour in Wick, Old Pulteney's town. Very tasty indeed.
Nose: Aromatic and perfumed with hints of bergamot, coconut, tropical fruits, butterscotch, toffee apples and malt.
Palate: Silky smooth, notes of lush fruit and toasty oak. Some malt, apricots and plums.
Finish: Cinnamon spices, malty and toasty.

Really smooth, drinkable whisky and therein lies the problem. I bought one on the way home from Jersey and now it is gone and I cannot get hold of anymore. My daughter lives in Jersey and has tried to get some from the duty-free at the airport and the ferries but no luck. If you come across this whisky buy more than one and enjoy drinking it in the knowledge that once you have finished the bottle you still have another to open.

This is a unique whiskey, a high alcohol content but very smooth and drinkable. Well worth the money and will be looking to buy again.

No complexity. Simple whisky for a simple palate. Pass on this an most Pulteney as they are just not that good.

i found this in Duty free on Jersey and bought it to try. The whisky has a pale colour and a very smooth taste with no afterburn. This unfortunately makes it very easy to drink and I am now wishing I had bought two bottles, one to explore and one to relax and enjoy. Would certainly recommend it to malt lovers everywhere.
