Old Pulteney 1970 (Gordon and MacPhail)

Old Pulteney 1970 Bottling Note

A 1970 vintage from the Old Pulteney distillery, bottled by Gordon and MacPhail

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is quite thick and full. There are notes of cut fruits and a vegetal note, there is a good thickness and a honeyed sweetness with a gentle acidity from the citrus. The palate is full and thick. There is a beautiful vanilla sweetness with a touch of spice and honey. There are notes of oxidized copper and a touch of citrus with plenty of barley. The finish is long and rich with a touch of dryness.
