This single malt was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2003, a rare edition from the North Port distillery.
The nose is quite light and sweet. There are notes of winter spice and ground ginger, hints of soft wood smoke and heather root and malmsey. The palate is of medium-body with a well-balanced sweetness. There are notes of barley sugar and cereal sweetness, walnut and hazelnut with a touch of wood smoke. The finish is long and peppy with a caramelized plum note and smoke thereof.
