Nikka Taketsuru 25 YO Bottling Note

The 25 year old edition of Nikka's Taketsuru blended malt whisky is a very rare sight. The Taketsuru expression was named in honour of the company's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, made with malt whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. The well-aged whiskies within this brilliant blended malt display a fantastic balance of Sherried goodness, floral elegance and a subtle hint of peat.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Nikka Taketsuru 25 Year Old Reviews

Excellent drop!

Was in Niigata last New Years. The hotel bar had a bottle. 4620 yen a shot-outstanding whisky - was forced to have two just to be sure!

Magnificent Pure Malt

I was lucky enough to purchase this bottle on a visit to Tokyo. It was the last bottle left. I have not opened it, but the color is exquisite. And by licking the glass, I can already tell this will be a grand pour on my death bed.
