A 12 year old blend from Murray McDavid with malts from Highland Park, Glenrothes and Glengoyne alongside grains from Cameronbridge and Port Dundas. A small batch bottling, with 718 bottles produced.
Candied peels, Daim bars, vanilla and sultanas.
Orange blossom, lemon zest and dark caramels.
Spicy cereal.
Nose: Heavy on the ethanol. Is this fit for human consumption? Palate: Bland, underwhelming. There are more enjoyable bottom shelf whiskeys. Finish: mild disappointment and regret. I will keep the bottle so I can demonstrate a terrible whiskey to beginners.
