This was distilled at the Miltonduff distillery on the 15th May 1979, and it was aged in bourbon barrel 12760 for 32 years before bottling on the 8th June 2011. A release of 145 numbered bottles.
Nose: Vanilla creaminess, fudge, a little toasted brioche, floral notes, parma violets, pepper, hints of smoke, chamomile and sugared peels.
Palate: Good body, this is a rich whisky with notes of pepper, mint chocolate, nutmeg and cinnamon. Some smoke, gingernut and fruit.
Finish: Long, spicy and sweet with candied peels and digestive biscuits.
