Mortlach 11 Year Old 2007 - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing) Reviews

Lovely whisky, smooth, vanilla, chocolate

A stunning whisky.
Very drinkable without any alteration, but in my opinion is taken to another level by a drop or two of water, to taste.
There are immediate sweet notes as described, vanilla, chocolate, even honey? There isn’t an unpleasant burn, just a smooth journey from palate to throat.
Highly recommended.
