Miltonduff 36 1981 Bottling Note

Very well-matured Miltonduff, independently bottled by North Star Spirits. This one was distilled in 1981 and set aside to age in a single refill hogshead for 36 years, before being bottled at cask strength with a small outturn of just 76 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oily malt and flamed orange peel. A touch of flint develops.

Palate: Tropical fruit explodes on the palate - think mango and lychee. A good helping of cinnamon and pink peppercorn gives it depth.

Finish: Red apples, honeyed malt and a hint of lager bitterness.
