A 1998 vintage Miltonduff, distilled during the Winter. It was then aged for 12 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in Winter 2010. This was bottled for the Provenance range from Douglas Laing.
Nose: Gently smoky nose, with notes of sweet butterscotch, cooked apple a touch of potpourri.
Palate: Biscuity and rich, soft peat smoke mixed with rose petal jelly, rum spice and grist.
Finish: A long, sweet finish with coffee and malt.
