“OMG. This is amazing!! Bought today from Royal Mile Whiskies and recommended by the very knowledgeable assistant (American lady). She said it was like drinking dark chocolate. It is totally like drinking a 70% dark chocolate. The nose is dark chocolate. The first mouthful is so soft with a huge chocolate kick. Finish not too long leaves you with the chocolate after taste and makes you return for another hit of the soft chocolate taste. Excellent ??”

Miltonduff 10 Year Old - Discovery (Gordon & MacPhail)

This is a 10 year old single malt from the Miltonduff distillery, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the Discovery series. Each of the Discovery bottlings comes presented in livery which places it in one of three flavour profile categories; 'Sherry', 'Smoky' or 'Bourbon'. This one falls into that first category - it's a delicious sherried treat!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Toffee apples, rum-soaked raisins and fresh malt.

Palate

Chocolate and butterscotch bring sweetness, while a touch of clove gives it some well-needed warmth.

Finish

Blackberry jam and cinnamon.
