Lawrenceburg 2007 #18021 Bottling Note

An indie bottling of 'Indiana Light Whiskey' from Germany's Malts of Scotland. This expression was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2018 after being finished in a Caribbean rum barrel. So, light whiskey, eh? It's a style of American whiskey that is 160 proof (80% ABV) or over (which is quite a bit higher than most other whiskies).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lemon peel, brown sugar, hints of corn and tinned pineapple.

Palate: Spicier on the palate, with white pepper and cinnamon. Still packing some juicy tropical fruit sweetness.

Finish: Apricot, butter and a hint of white oak heat.
