This 10 year old matured in refill sherry casks, with lots of dried fruit flavours coming through. This is a Traditional Speyside whisky, bottled under Gordon and MacPhail's own label.
The nose is quite light and crisp. There are notes of cut fruits and sultanas, a hint of toasty oak with winter spice and a little smoke. The palate is of medium-body and quite fruity. There are notes of sultanas and chewy dried peels with hints of fruitcake and a jammy note. The finish is of medium-length with a little fruit and dried peels.
